I got to reply to that question too sometime.

As for where I got my clip, I can only speak for myself.

Most of my clips are captured from TF series airing here in Canada.
I got a video capture card, a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) and I'm subscribed to digital TV, so I got access to a few channel which can airs content with TF.
I also get some content from DVD I buy, or barely get donated. I'm trying to get those from the bargain bin or the when a series is released on a good package deal (Kong for instance, got released in a single box for 40$).

I barely get content online, except for material that cannot be accessible here or in good quality such as anime or foreign material.
If most of the stuff were from downloaded stuff, I couldn't call it my collection if I just copied the clips of others. You Tube is full of those people, which is why I hate You Tube.

I've attached my current episode list, which is a guide of what I've captured and have in stock so far.

Having to go through all that.
I wouldn't be able to go through them all

This is sort of why there aren't many transformation media archivers.
Other than Dutchman, Stonegate (I'm not sure he's still active) and I, I can't think of anyone.

And sadly, media archivers are the people that get the less, if any, recognition among the community.
Ask Dutchman about it.

Just last week, there was another 'The Community is dying'. "Shadowlord and Dragoniade Inc." was labeled as "Alive but barely updating"...
What? I'm trying to update every week or so, and I'm barely updating? While some artists only update once a month and are considered "active"?
Sometime, I wonder what I would have to do just to have some people shut up and start complaining IN PUBLIC.

And seeing no people willing to help in the contest is not to help give some seeing some more 'recognition'.

But it's something I started, and I'm not a quitter.
The short answer is because 85% of the clips aren't uploaded yet due to the amount of data that need to be uploaded.

Roughly, there is about 60GB and 10'000 files to upload. The final number will be known when I'll have finished uploading the duplicated files that have been recaptured at better resolution and count double on my local files listing.

But I'm trying to upload more content once or twice a week, more or less depending of my free time.
For instance, I didn't upload anything in the past week because I was on vacation, but I update 3 times the week before.

Uploading 60 GB take time, and inputing 10'000 filenames in the database take even more time.
I am extending the contest... again.
Someone asked for it to be extended, since it was so close to the holiday.

And lets face it, it seem not to be attracting much people this time around. Come on! Lets support the community and those who help it. I personally can't imagine that an update every 2 weeks is considered 'barely' updating in the community! Help by showing some support to me and the site.

So, this said, and with me returning home tomorrow, I'm extending it to February Friday the 13th 2009. Hey, I'm giving an idea suggestion just by picking that date héhé.
Anyone from Germany can get me this DVD when it get released? Contact me!

Well, d'oh.

After many failed attempts, I finally managed to locate the second one... in 10 minutes. Thanks Wikipedia.
Thanks to 'paper cut animation', one of the listed entry that caught my eye were "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"

After some more search, I located Krabat - The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and the preview and summary match:
http://www.fandango.com/krabat_v470895/summary

And it's also being remade into a movie. So TF alert here

Now I only need to locate both of them
With the holiday season approaching, I remembered one movie I saw when I was a kid that I cannot remember the name.

It was about an orphan (got to have one) who was raised by, if I remember correctly, her step mother and her daughter. Those 2 were very selfish and took happiness to make the little girl's live miserable. However, that girl, sometime along the movie, befriend, again if I remember correctly, the 4 spirits of winters or the seasons. Where she live, the princess was very curious about those spirit. When the step mother learned about the girl's 'friend', she disclosed it to the princess. Under pressure, she was forced to lead them to the spirit. The princess gathered an escort and they all went to meet the spirits.

However, along the way, the day suddenly turned to a snow storm, the wind grabbing the orphan, destroying the carriage with the princess and blowing away every single winter clothing everyone had. Left without any mean of transportation or any mean to warm themselves, the princess, her guards and the wicked step mother/daughter are left to wonder what will happen to them. Freezing, the princess spot a lose coat. The mother and daughter run after it and start fighthing over it. Seeing this, one of the guard generously give his coat to the freezing princess, and let a remark that those two were fighting like two dogs for a bone. As he finishes saying that, the woman and daughter, as they throw themselves at each other, suddenly turn into 2 dogs, who break fighting and run away.

The remaining of the group start to wonder, until they reach the center of the forest where they see the girl and the 4 spirits. They apologies for their behavior and promise the girl a better future. The 2 dogs, former humans, then arrive. The spirits then tell them that, if they're behave for a whole year, they will get their former human self.

I believe this was an european made movie, back from the late 80. If anyone can point me toward what this movie could be, I would really appreciate it.

==================================

Another show /short / movie I'm looking forth tells the story of an evil warlock, who locate and raise many orphans an teach them magic. However, each kid has to hold his own and do whatever the warlock tell them. Some of the magic include shapeshifting. The protagonist, befriend a few of the other orphans. At one point, one of his elder friend is called by the warlock. After a certain amount of time, the wizard would pick the eldest of his apprentice and challenge him to a duel, which always end with him being victorious. Seeing the disappearance of his friend, our hero want to leave this place. When another of his friend is caught doing something wrong (I can't remember what), the wizard tell him to turn his friend into a cattle, then go to the market and sell him.

However, he won't do it and on his way, turn the kid back into a human and turn himself into a bull. His friend lead him to the market and sell him, using the money to ran away. However, the one who purchased him was simply his master in disguise, who spur him to blood and exhaustion back to the house. As his punishment, he would spend the rest of his day doing chores and studying, while spending the night as a crow. During that time, he woulds spy on a girl, as a crow, and feel in love with her. She would, in time, realizes that the crow was actually a boy turned raven.

This disobedience really angered the wizard, who grab the girl, challenging her to identify which one of his apprentice was the boy she was in love with. Considering she never saw the boy, it would be impossible. However, she knew and went straight to the right boy, saying that this boy had the right heart.

The wizard then turned into flames and all the orphan were released. That movie / short actually used some sort of weird technique for the animation. I think they used cut back paper, as most of the animation was mostly monochrome, with black for the character silhouette with an orange or other color for the background. To emphasis on the paper, when the wizard burst to flame, we see him burn like if he real paper was being burnt.
I just realize I won't be home for january 1st, so I'm moving the contest deadline date by a week.

The new deadline isSaturday January 10th 2009
The contest is still going, though a bit slow.

All clips are using the DivX codec exclusively, either the 3.11 or the 5.1 version.

I'm making sure to re-encode all clips that were not in that kind of codec or format to AVI.

As for the audio, they it depend of the source. Some use AC-3, but the majority are MP3.

But for nearly all clips, if they're from me (the contributor tag on the clip), they are Divx + Mp3.
If they're from Stonegate, then it can be any combination.

I personally use the old Window Media Player 6.10 to playback my video. But any version of Media Player or VLC should work too.
Ok. A bit belated, but I was too busy to put too much attention to it.
When I was on vacation, someone pointed out in the forum that the the 'parasites' have been told that the site was online. And, as I was expecting, it didn't took too long before they started to post hate material and lies toward me. So, lets enlighten a few lies they posted.

Therefore, this is an open letter toward the process and the few statements posted about me.

The thread can be found there: http://www.process-productions.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14099

Statement : I'm an egoistical maniac / an asshole
Sorry, wrong. I'm not a maniac nor egoistical. It's called having a live and asking for respect. If someone can't show respect back, they don't deserve to receive it. Especially when you're an american bratz kid that have been spoiled by your mother your whole childhood and expect everyone else to give you everything for free, without making a single effort. Grow up, the real world doesn't work that way.

Statement : I hate Arania.
I don't hate Arania. I hate what she does and the wrongful popularity she gets. She is the representation of everything that goes wrong in today society. Lazyness, the lesser effort plague, the cheap labor that produce cheap product. If her arts were a product, it would be one of those cheap made in china items, made my kids, containing instruction in Ingrish and which would be defective after 1 week of usage. Yet, you would be shoved that item to your face every day, while local workers keep getting laid out for lack of work. That's what she is. The fact that people worship her bad porn is sickening. All she can produce is porn, not art. And why can I say so? Because everything she draw is off. Her faces look like flat texture and never at the same position on the body between frame, her animals anatomies are totally mixed up (for instance, giving goat balls to a deer, giving a man a cylinder for a penis or giving a bull a horse penis ), her poses are always the same, her plots (or lack of plots) always resolve to someone masturbating while changing, etc. Excuse me, but if you can't draw a penis and don't want to get reference, then DON'T draw it. PERIOD. You don't mix parts just because you never saw it. There's is plenty of references on the internet. Just google for it and there you have it. Giving split hooves to an horse is not a common mistake. It's a sign of laziness.

And don't get me started on the pedophilia she did. This is simply unforgivable, to her and her fans who defend that kind of criminal act.

Statement : I hate Sutibaru and banned him, while inviting him to join a contest.
I banned Sutibaru, because he's a moderator of the board, and as a moderator, he had the responsibility to stop any hate to flame threads that were getting out of hands. But when such thread started to occur, not only didn't he do anything to stop them, he encouraged them, banning people defending me and patting on the back of those throwing libels and lies at me. I banned him for that, because he could have stopped the cancer before it spread. But no, he helped to make it worse. As for the contest, that was before he joins the 'we hate Dragoniade' bandwagon.

Statement : I banned TF-Viewer.
Yes I did. He was one of the few people that constantly posted attack messages toward me, ranging from drug usage to money fraud. Each time my name was mention, he would take pleasure to attack me, on the process and elsewhere

Statement : I'm a slacker for taking vacation after releasing the site.
Excuse me, but I am the only one with a job, or is my feeling that nearly all TF fanboys are either on social security, living on their parent's basement or lazy bratz? When you spent the last 10 months working a full time job, sometime doing 10 hours of overtime, not stopping for the summer, you deserve some time off. Which I did. Now, if for them, the site should be my only focus, sorry, but it won't ever happen. I have mortgage, utilities bills, conventions fees, food to pay, along with all the stuff I do for the site in time and equipment. So unless I can start making 50K a year with transformation content, you can forget it. Especially not when it's a yearly vacation where the date are fixed and unmovable (hunting)

Statement : I started a contest to get free commission art.
Is it me or is that last statements is an antonym? A commission cannot be free, because commission, by definition, involve paying. And as far as I know, a contest involve costs. The last contest cost me quite a few bucks, in term of media, time and shipping, the latest not being cheap to send from Canada to the US or International. And if they had bothered to read, they would have noticed money was involved in the prize too.

Statement : I hold a grudge against their kind. I hate female transformation
I don't hate female transformation. I welcome both gender transformations. But when the transformation of female became a fetish, strengthened when the female was either naked, submitted to the will of a male person, used as a sex toy, this is where I draw the line. Mind you, apply the same treatment to male TF and I would feel the same.

But the picture I got from 'their kind' was that if you don't provide female transformation, then you were less than nothing. Each time someone would post a TF items where it wasn't 100% female, he woulds get flamed. If the female was not in a sexual context, the items was just ok. But if he female sported oversized genitalia, was leaking, was being enslaved by a male (implied or explicit), then it was a masterpiece. Excuse, me but this is pure sexism. I'm not a defender of feminism, but this is crossing the line. I know that a bunch of them only see female as an inferior being, to be used as toy for their pleasure, but not everyone want to return to the stone age. This mentality would also explain why a lot of female arts totally suck, such has having oversized genitalia or breasts/nipples: they never saw a real girl naked in their life.

I like female transformations, but when the transformation is used as a tools to make oneself better by degrading the victims, I find it unacceptable. Especially if it mean you're part or not part of a 'clique' and imply that your work automatically sucks.

Statement : The process members donated.
Well, if they did, I didn't see 'process' in either their name or email when they donated. And seriously, when I look back at the donation list, I have my doubt that the majority of the process donated. And a mere 5$ donations won't give you the key to the site, you can bet on it, nor that it give you privilege to 'crucifiate' me. I banned a few members, but those were already identified and barely donated.

Statement : I am the problem of the whole TF community
One thing that I find amazing is how the process consider themselves the whole TF community. The Process have a big ego problem, which is why I'm not a fan of them. Anything not related to the process is less than nothing. If you don't abide to the Process rules or mentality, then you're an enemy or not worth supporting. Sorry, but wake up. There is more out there than just a board where female being sexually used as a transformation objects. Leave your bubble and you'll discover a world filled with more TF than just your clique. And you'll realize my fight for quality is worth it.

Statement : Female TF fans like sexually explicit material.
Wrong. Bubble mentality, proper to the process. Grow up and try to open yourself a bit more.

Statement : Dragoniade is gay, because he likes male TF
Ugh. That was a free attack. I'm 100% straight, thank you. This kind of statement is more on the bubble mentality of the process and their kind. While they strictly into forcefully transforming others, as a sign of superiority, some people see transformation as an escape, a possibility to experience new ... experiences. Fly like an hawks, swim like a dolphins, run like a cheetah, experience the strength and power of dragons. Some enjoy what it would be to actually feel the transformation. In such case, if you're a male, it's easier to visualize yourself if the character is a male, female if you're a female. And since when getting a picture of yourself make you gay? It's so stupid, that it would make the whole world gay, considering the amount of self-picture taken every day.

Statement : Back then, there were incredibly good artists. Now there are many good artists.
Nope. Back then, nearly every artists were putting pride in their work. Today, a lot of fanboy dare to call themselves good and produce craps, while the really good ones are buried under a ton of shit. All in the name of 'freedom of expressions/speech' or in the "you can't criticize, or it will make the person feel bad". Sorry, but if you suck, consider changing career.

Statement : Stonegate site used to have fictions.
I wouldn't really call it that way. There were about 10 stories from a contest Stonegate ran a few years back. And they were bad, as far as I remember. Nowhere close to that the TSA hold, even these day.

Statement : I banned Trunkated
I banned Trunkated because he, at many occasion, started flame bait conversation that always ended up in personal attacks. Later on, after saying he was sorry, I had my doubt, thinking there were more some stupid 'act first and think later' events, and offered to contact with him to discuss the issues. But after the initial reply, all went silent, which left me with no choice that his "I'm sorry" were far from sincere. So I didn't removed the ban.

I hope this answered a few of the questions about the statements posted there. If anyone have questions about the subject, feel free to post them there.
Apuleius wrote:Cartoon Network in the USA--I'm not sure which channel in Canada, unless CN has a Canadian branch.

Nope, There is no CCN
But they started airing BtBtB on Teletoon, which is on my PVR list. Hopefully, this episode is not too far ahead.
Which channel?
FreemanxXx wrote:Would posting others art but coloring it yourself (or inking and coloring and ofc asking permission before posting) be considered being an artist in this website??

This is an art gallery and repository. As long as you're implicated in the work, it's admissible.

That include:
Commission or request for you.
Artworks of a character that belong to you by drawn by someone else.
Artworks of yourself done by other.
Artwork inked or colored by you with the original artist or art owner permission.

So yes, inked or colored work are accepted, as long as you have received the permission to do so.
For instance, the latest art submission was drawn by picklejuice, but has been colored by Dragon5V5 with Picklejuice approval.

Of course, the submitted work must have a minimal quality. So someone wanting to pick someone else work and just 'quick crayola' it wouldn't be accepted.
