my question is: what codec is the clip rendered. i tried several different players to view it and all i got was sound. and if there were a special player out there, please tell me. thank you and keep up the good work.

All clips are using the DivX codec exclusively, either the 3.11 or the 5.1 version.

I'm making sure to re-encode all clips that were not in that kind of codec or format to AVI.

As for the audio, they it depend of the source. Some use AC-3, but the majority are MP3.

But for nearly all clips, if they're from me (the contributor tag on the clip), they are Divx + Mp3.
If they're from Stonegate, then it can be any combination.


I personally use the old Window Media Player 6.10 to playback my video. But any version of Media Player or VLC should work too.
