Is there a way to ad a portrait to your profile without changing your avatar? Because every time I try to upload a portrait it highlights the avatar option. Also, can you use webp files

Yes. The avatar and portrait are independent, with the exception that if you don't upload an avatar but a portrait, the portrait will be used as an avatar.
Webp is not supported at this time
